Webinar

A webinar discussing what it means to be gifted and twice-exceptional and how educators can support these children in preschool settings.

In this webinar Paula will explore what it means to be gifted and twice-exceptional. She will discuss the particular needs that these children may have and share strategies to support their inclusion in a preschool setting.

We will learn about the common characteristics of gifted young children and the importance of early identification to support them to reach their potential, and to avoid them becoming bored, underachieve or having any negative impacts to their wellbeing. We will also explore why identifying giftedness in children with a disability can be complex and challenging.

Paula will discuss how we can identify, plan, implement and review approaches aimed at maximising opportunities for twice-exceptional young children that will allow each child to thrive, feel a sense of belonging and make valuable contributions to their world.
